Creating a new interview is getting simpler and faster
We have just completed our testing on the new processes. They have been implemented on the server - our how - to documentation has been updated and should reflect the changes. Please let us know if you have any feedback or information you would like to share.
Type of Interview
When creating an interview – you will have options between:
In Person, Phone or Skype
This will enable you to communicate this more clearly with your candidate. You will be able to provide them with an address, a phone number or Skype (Teleconference) information for your interview.
The process is simpler and organized:
We have now organized the form to keep all required, recommended and optional fields together.
We simplified and streamlined the options. (Please note that most of these can also be set globally under the settings menu by the super user)
If you set your availability for each interview – we have improved the flow of creating, editing interview spots. You will now have the option to:
- Edit the length by clicking on the 2 lines at the bottom of the interview spot and increasing or reducing its length
- Delete the interview spot (the same way you were able to before)
- Drag the spot to another day and time
You will be able to see if a candidate is scheduled on the specific spot – this will enable you to administer accordingly. If there is a candidate scheduled – the candidate will receive an email advising them of a change. As you see below – the spots that are taken by a candidate are green and have the name of the candidate.
Interviewers and Google Calendar
You can continue to use Interviewer Assistant to update your interviewer availability. As an enhancement we are also adding Google Calendar as a source for your interviewers to provide their availability to your candidates. This will streamline the interviews, when candidates pick spots it will be based on the availability of your interviewers in their Google Calendar. Once a candidate picks a spot your interviewer’s Google Calendar will update with the spot taken by your candidate.
Completing the Interview
We hope the creation process is simpler and quicker. Once you complete your interview creation – we will give you some common options to perform after you are done creating the interview.
We have updated our processes to allow each license to have as many "interviewers" as you wish to manage. Each will be able to sync their availability either with google or with interviewer assistant.
